If you are wondering what is the best easy hike in Colorado to do with your kids, then try The Grottos! Located in the Aspen area, The Grottos trail is a great short and easy hike your children might really enjoy. It has ice caves, an amazing waterfall (cascades), and fun rock scrambling along the relatively flat trail. Located in the White River National Forest, this is a short, must-do hike if you are ever in the Aspen area! It’s only about 0.6 miles long with around 30 feet of elevation gain.
